History

1965
The construction of the national third line,the Fushun Excavator Factory was partly moved to Luzhou,Sichuan,and the factory was named Changjiang Excavator Factory.
Mainly produce mechanical excavators and crawler cranes
1977
The first full hydraulic excavator WY160 was successfully developed and won the third prize of scientific and technological achievements by the Ministry of Machinery Industry in August 1981.
1979
The hydraulic excavator WY160 was upgraded to WY160A,greater performance improvement.
1985
The factory has fully introduced the design and manufacturing technology and key technical equipment of R962，R972，R982 medium and large hydraulic excavators from Germany Liebherr company.Through digestion and absorption of imported technology，we developed and completed the first full series of 22t, 25t, 32t, 40t, 45t, 56t, 70t and 90t hydraulic excavators, and became a professional manufacturer of hydraulic excavators in China at that time.
1990
The first electric hydraulic excavator WDY452（45t class）was successfully developed.
1998
The first grabber WY160A was successfully developed,and it was improved and upgraded to WZY40，and it was fully promoted in the stockyards,ports,and loading and unloading centers of steel mills across the country.
2002
The 6 series of full hydraulic excavators,steel grabbers,and material grabbers have been successfully developed and put into use at customer sites at home and abroad.The machine weight covers 20 to 100 tons.
2003
Based on the successful restructuring of the original Sichuan Changjiang Excavator Co.，Ltd.，Sichuan Bonny Heavy Machinery Co.，Ltd.was officially established.
2006
The 7 series full hydraulic excavators,steel grabs,and grabs have been successfully developed.The product tonnage ranges from 6 tons to 220 tons.The first 220-ton (12 m³) electric hydraulic excavator started production and operation.
2013
Bonny Heavy Machinery successfully developed the first scrap car dismantling machine CJ300-7，and put it into market to use,which was well received by users.
2018
The 8 series full hydraulic excavator,grabbing machine,and scrap car dismantling machine were successfully developed and put into market to use.The advanced technical concept has won unanimous praise from users.
2015
Bonny Heavy Machinery moved to the new plant as a whole and settled in the national high-tech zone.
